Sadolin Paint Company on Friday, September 9, donated paint worth 22m Shillings to Buhinga primary school in Fort Portal tourism city.
This was done on grounds of giving back to the community.
While handing over the paint to the school authority, Charles Magara the Sadolin regional manager, said it’s thoughtful of the company to give back to the community.
Magara cited that in 2018, they as well painted Kabarole hospital noting that they have on several occasions painted the Tooro kingdom palace.

One of the reasons Magara gave concerning the paint donation, is for the company to build the young generation by reinforcing a conducive environment for learners.
He added that such painting not only beautifies the environment but also bridges the social cooperation responsibility among others.
Magara told the gathering that effective next year the company is to support children through bursaries in institutions of learning.
Magara challenged other Tooro people in other reputable companies to lobby for the people of Tooro in developmental ventures.
Eric Mugasa, the head teacher Buhinga primary school, commended the company for the gesture of face lifting the school adding that parents want schools that are face lifted.
Kantu Rwakijuma chairman PTA and management representative thanked the company and OBS of the school for supporting the school. He pledged to put to proper use the given paint at the facility.
