As accountability issues Intensify in the Kingdom, Omukama Nyabongo has urged members of the Supreme Council to put aside their differences and work together to advance the Kingdom and improve the welfare of its people.
He reminded the members that although he is the Omukama within the cultural institution, they are all equal before God, urging them to conduct their duties with integrity and humility without intimidating others or allowing themselves to be intimidated.
The Omukama also called on the council members to protect themselves against HIV/AIDS by embracing voluntary testing to establish their health status.
He revealed that the Kingdom intends to establish a health screening programme to enable people to understand their health conditions and seek treatment early.
He further urged the members to reject domestic violence, love their family members and promote peace in their homes as part of the wider effort to strengthen unity and development in Tooro Kingdom
