Following their victory yesterday, Kyaka Isaza is set to face Mwenge South Isaza in the return leg on August 31.
In the second semifinal first leg of the Tooro Kingdom MTN Kabode Masaza Tournament, Kyaka Isaza hosted Mwenge South Isaza at Humura Grounds and secured a 3–0 win.

The winner on aggregate between Mwenge South and Kyaka will advance to the finals to play either Burahya Isaza or Fort Portal Isaza. Currently, Fort Portal leads Burahya 1–0, while Mwenge South needs at least a 4–0 victory to qualify for the finals.
Kingdom commends tournament
Owek. Wandera, Deputy Minister of Sports for Tooro Kingdom, praised this year’s tournament, mainly sponsored by MTN, noting the increased turnout of subjects and the discipline displayed by players.
The Tooro Kingdom Premier, Owek. Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire, who graced the occasion, commended the strong support for the tournament and appreciated sponsors, including MTN Uganda. He also emphasized the importance of embracing the tournament’s theme of knowing one’s HIV status and acting responsibly, with the ultimate goal of eliminating HIV/AIDS in the Kingdom by 2030.
During the halftime break, Dennis Harindimana, Regional Head of Sales, together with Princess Madina Nabawanuka, MTN Territorial Manager for Kyegegwa and Kyenjojo, handed over a brand-new MTN Kabode smartphone to the winner of the jigging competition.
Fred Tumusiime, named man of the match after scoring Kyaka’s opening and closing goals, was also rewarded with an MTN Kabode smartphone and additional cash prizes from MTN Uganda.
With the semifinals underway, the tournament now edges closer to its grand conclusion.
