The Bishop of Kabale Diocese, Callist Rubaramira, has urged Christians to embrace unity and deepen their faith in the Holy Eucharist, describing it as the source of true oneness with Christ and among believers.
During the celebration of Corpus Christi at Rushoroza Cathedral, he emphasized that the Eucharist is not merely symbolic but a real spiritual union that strengthens believers, nourishes the soul, and fosters love, reconciliation, and harmony within the Christian community.

He reminded Christians that God remains ever-present in their lives and that receiving the Eucharist brings them closer to Christ while calling them to reject divisions. He further encouraged regular prayer, Scripture reading, and participation in the sacraments as essential for spiritual growth, lasting peace, and the hope of eternal life.
In a related move, Fr James Burasa CSC, the Former Parish Priest Kyarusozi, emphasized the sacredness of the Eucharist by warning against receiving it unworthily.
Presiding over Mass in Kigoyera Sub-Region parish , Fr Burasa described the Eucharistic as a shared divine gift that calls Christians to imitate Christ in humility, love, and sacrifice. To take it lightly, he noted, is to disregard both Christ and the unity of the Church
