The Chief Prince and Custodian of Tooro Kingdom ,Charles Kamurasi Kayondo Akiiki, has officially handed over power and responsibility of the Tooro Kingdom to the new King.
Speaking during yesterday’s coronation at Karuzika Palace, Musuuga Charles Kamurasi appreciated the people of Tooro for their strength in preserving Tooro culture through the principle of Obutahemukira Butwarane and standing with him through.
Musuuga also appreciated the President of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, for supporting the late King in his education and health.
He further appreciated the Queen Mother for raising the King with discipline and responsibility fit for the Kingdom, and he called for a moment of silence in honour of the fallen King, Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.
