Alex Ruhunda the Member of Parliament Fort Portal central division has been re elected as the chair person Rwenzori Parliamentary forum.
Ruhunda was re elected as chairperson, Eng. Cuthbert Abigaba vice chairperson, Acrobert Kiiza Moses general secretary, Faith Kunihira Treasurer, Kambale Frego Publicity, Gafabusa Richard Chief Whip, Tom Butime Chief Adviser and Waako Joy Peggy Female Elderly National.
Ruhunda says that they are going to build the regional economy and they have to work together to lobby government especially with Agri-led program to get it financed, to ensure they have public University in operational.
He says that they have to ensure they have industrial parks in place and people have the stores where to keep their produces among others. He asked the public to work with them to promote Fort Portal tourism city.
