The Police in Kisoro District have in detention a man on suspicion of killing a man whom he accuse of sleeping with his wife.
The deceased is Mubangizi Alex a resident of Chogo village, Kagunga Parish, Bukimbiri sub County in Kisoro District.
Bernard Kato the Nyakalembe village Chairperson told the press that he got a phone call on Saturday from Owen Habasa telling him of how he killed Mubangizi.
Habasa told the Chairperson that he killed Mubangizi whom he found red handed having sex with his wife Justin Owobulenzi.
Information obtained by this reporter indicates that Habasa who has been working in masaka came some days back after receiving a tip off that the deceased was sleeping with his wife in his absence.
It’s alleged that he kept hiding in the area monitoring the victims movements until last night when he found the duo red handed in bed and killed him at his home.
After the killing, Habasa reported himself to Bukimbiri Sub County police post where he is being detained together with his wife.
Police was yet to issue any Statement about the matter by press time.
