Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic has summoned a team of 44 players in preparation for the upcoming international build up matches in Europe and Asia.
Uganda will play five international build up matches against Iceland, Botosani and Moldova in Turkey.Two other build ups will be held in Asia; against Iraq in Baghdad and Bahrain in Bahrain city.
He studied at Light Primary School, Bulenga (lower primary to P4) before sitting his Primary Leaving Examinations at Kibiito Primary school in Bunyangabu District,Tooro Region.
He had his Ordinary level studies at Nyakasura School, Fort portal tourism city and completed the Advanced Level at St Mary’s SSS Kitende where he studied Mathematics, Economics, Fine Art and ICT.
He is nick-named “Airforce one” for the awesome aerial strength during a football duel. He is also a great tackler, man-marker and passer of the ball over long distances on the pitch.
In 2019 FUFA Drum Tournament, Nyakoojo recorded two man of the match accolades as he turned out for Tooro Province. Last season alone, Benjamin Nyakoojo had four man of the match performances in the Star-Times Uganda Premier League however this season he has not received any many of the match accolade due to limited time on the pitch compared to last season.
