Residents reminded to regulate their Merry making

Echoing Hon. Alex Ruhunda’s sentiments on preserving African values, Bishop Muhiirwa emphasized the importance of preserving African values, particularly the traditional family structure of a man and woman, in contrast to same-sex marriage as normalized in western countries which he views as contrary to African norms.
Earlier in his speech, Hon.Alex Ruhunda the legislator Fort Portal City noted with concern the rate at which people in the western world were going away from God through disrespecting nature of man and woman as evidenced on normalizing same sex marriage.
He urged Christians to stay close to God and respect African family values of opposite sex marriage and giving birth to children instead of adopting pets as it is in the Western world.
