As a way of extending  radio services nearer to the people, Jubilee radio launched Bukwali Agahikaine Jubilee Radio Listenership group in Bukwali parish.

The group, was launched by Rev Fr. Ronald Musinguzi Atwooki, doubling as the managing director of Jubilee radio.

During the launch, Fr. Musinguzi  reminded  group members that jubilee radio was started as a tool of evangelism, implying that it is everyone’s role to own and move it forward for generations to come.

He thus asked members, to be good ambassadors of the radio by promoting it in their area, on top of supporting it morally and financially.

Jubilee’s director, observed  the need for  members to support each other through praying together and be there for one another in good and bad times.

About Agahikaine listener’s group

Fr. Musinguzi,  informed members about the main aim of forming the listener’s groups  as promoting radio services, and strengthening the physical bond between listeners and Jubilee radio as a company.

Listener’s groups, will be launched in different parishes of Fort Portal diocese for the same cause. The group, was first launched in Yerya Parish by Fr. Frederick D Waako Apuuli  the former director of Jubilee Radio.

Bukwali Parish was the second to host the launch of these groups.

During the Launch

In the launching exercise, an executive to head the group was instituted. A one Lucia Kironde, was elected as the chairperson, Tadeo Kyomuhendo Vice chair person , Stella  as treasurer and Edward Ruhwaire  as the mobilizer.

The managing director Fr. Musinguzi,  implored  members to be good examples so as to attract more members to the group.

He also appealed to them to meet regularly to evaluate the radio services and create avenues to develop each other.
