Bunyangabu: CAO Cautions Technical Staff on Reporting Late to Work

Mr.Amis Asuman Masereka- CAO Bunyangabu

The Chief Administrative Officer [CAO] Bunyangabu, Mr Amis Asuman Masereka, has cautioned technical staff on adherence to  duty attendance.
This was during his official visit to Kakinga Town council and Rwimi Town council on Monday November 21, 2022.
Masereka, observed that all technical staff are obligated to provide services to the people and therefore there is need to desist from absenteeism and reporting late to work.
He also encouraged them to have good working relations with the political wing for effective service delivery.
Bunyangabu staff residing far from work
According to the LCV Chairperson Bunyangabu, Hon.James Ategeka Mugarama, the biggest challenge for Bunyangabu District is having majority staff residing in distant districts like Kabarole and Kasese.
“We would be doing well in regards to attendance to duty, but most of our staff waste alot of time and resources traveling from far distances to work, why can’t you sleep in your duty stations,” He asked .
The Resident District Commissioner (RDC)  Joshua Kisembo Masereka on the same function asked both technical and Political staff to have teamwork for better service delivery.
” Let us work together as a team to foster economic development and transformation in our District,” He said
