Joy engulfed Burahya fans on Saturday, as Burahya County defeated Kitagwenda County 4-1 in the Tooro Kingdom MTN Amasaza Cup 3rd Edition match at the Kyembogo Datic playing ground.
Kitagwenda scored the first goal, giving them hope for a win, but Burahya equalized in the 20th minute, making it 1-1 at halftime.
Burahya’s coach Bernard Musonge encouraged his team to play stronger in the second half, and they managed to score three more goals, taking advantage of Kitagwenda’s missed free kicks.
Kitagwenda still hopeful for next match
Kitagwenda’s coach Brian Walusimbi expressed concerns about the playing field but remained optimistic about their upcoming match against Mwenge South, which they need to win to stay in the tournament.
