St. George clinic football club fans have donated food relief to Tooro babies home. Among the food donated to Tooro babies home are maize flour, cassava flour, Rice, sugar, beans, wheat Flour among others.
Isingoma Fred the fans chairperson said that he saw a video of the Matron Tooro babies’ home asking for help and shared the video with other fans which forced them to collect some money and buy food items.
Majorie Kansiime Annet, the senior fans representative promised to pay the electricity bills for 6 month as she asked parents to produce children they can afford to look after instead of abandoning them.
Addressing the media, Kemigisa Betty the matron Tooro babies Home commended St. George clinic football club fans for donating them food items and asked the public for more Support.
As per now,Tooro babies’ home is a home of 53 children from Kyenjojo d istrict, Kabarole, Bunyangabu and Bundibugyo And most of the children are from Bundibugyo and Bunyangabu.
Last Week, St George Clinic Fc merged with Fort City FC which gives them a slot to play in Kitara Regional League next Season as they look forward to promote home talents.
