Political Leaders together with Parents and Teachers of Buhara Primary School, have appreciated Natural Resources Defense Initiative (NRDI) for providing the school with updated toilet facilities for both boys and girls.
During the hand over ceremony on Friday 18th March, the LC3 Chairman Kicwamba subcounty Mr.Magezi Jack Magezi Kicuculi , thanked NRDI for constructing standard Eco-san Toilets that will serve the school effectively and as well preserve the environment.
Magezi, asked the school to maintain the facility and promote good sanitation.
According to Patrick Musinguzi, the Headteacher Buhara Primary School, they are grateful to NRDI that has supported the school with a good toilet facility that will last for a long period since it is re usable .
He However appealed to well wishers, to intervene and help the school with water since it is still a big challenge to the pupils.
Musinguzi, noted that the only functioning tank they have was also donated by NRDI but whenever it is a hot season, children always move to the down streams in search for water which interferes with their studies.
