The religious brothers of St. Joseph the Worker in the Diocese of Fort Portal have successfully concluded their chapter, which included elections that ushered in a new leadership team.
The newly elected leadership council consists of Rev. Brother Eugene Bwambale Africana as the Superior General, Rev. Brother John Atwebembere as the Vice Superior General, Rev. Brother Boniface Mujuni as the 1st Councillor, Rev. Brother Hagen’Imana Anaclet as the 2nd Councillor, and Brother Moses Mugisha as the 3rd Councillor.
Rev. Brother Eugene Bwambale, the newly elected Superior General, is set to succeed Rev. Brother Aloysius Kiiza, the outgoing Superior General of St. Joseph the Worker, who has been in office for six years.

According to a document seen by the Jubilee Radio News Desk, dated March 20, 2025 ( yesterday) the outgoing Superior, Brother Kiiza, expressed his commitment to organizing an official handover ceremony at a future date, which will be communicated in due time,to allow the new leadership to formally begin their duties.
Bro.Kiiza, also acknowledged the peaceful nature of the election process and encouraged the religious brothers to pray for the new leadership as they take on the tasks awaiting them.
