As the Muslim community kicked off the month of Ramadan around the world, the county sheikh for the Fort Portal main mosque Sheikh Kagenda Swaibu has tasked fellow Muslims to do good acts as they act.
Speaking to our reporter in his office during an exclusive interview today, sheikh Swaibu stated that during the month of Ramadan, Muslims are asked to pray more sun-nah and Na-fl prayers, including Tarawih and Tahajjud.
“Donate a wheelchair to a hospital – you will get rewards for patients who use it (Sadaqah Jariyah). Donate to charity – Donate to Orphans in need and this will reap the rewards of Ramadan.” noted Sheikh Swaibu
The sheikh has stated that the Qur’an, requires Muslims to fast in their heart without showcasing it to the public, tasked the Muslims to go on and practice it.
