The Fort Portal City Resident Commissioner, Angalia Kasigwa Godwin, has warned all civil servants involved in the implementation of the Parish Development Model [PDM] against sabotage, misuse of funds, and mismanagement.
Angalia, also advised that the same civil servants ensure strict monitoring of the program.
In his view, PDM is a new program aimed at eradicating poverty at household level, saying anyone sabotaging and mismanaging it will be arrested.
The RCC, made these remarks at the monitoring of several projects implemented in the city and the progress of the Parish Development Model SACCOs, by the Fort Portal city leaders

The monitoring team, comprised of the Mayor Edison Asaba Ruyonga, Division Mayor North Joseph Mashuuhuko, Technical staff, City councilors, and City internal security officer among others.
Citizens uninformed fully of PDM
The leaders while monitoring, shockingly found out that some PDM SAACOs do not know how much money was remitted to their accounts while some did not know what exactly they are supposed to do.
Asaba Edison Ruyonga blamed the PDM City Focal Person Dr. Stanley Businge for being incompetent and inability to do his work as mandated.
PDM focal person to make a statement
According to Joseph Mashuhuko the North Division Mayor, some data collectors under the PDM are still complaining of past due and failure to be paid their emoluments from the focal person.
It is from this background that the RCC was forced to direct the City Internal Security Officer and the GISO North Division, to make Dr. Stanley Businge make a Statement at Police for mismanaging the PDM in the city.
