The central division council has embarked on soliciting more than 300M for the medication of three councilors and the technocrats.
This was revealed by the the central division mayor Richard Muhumuza, in his address to the media yesterday at his office Kahinju road Fort Portal city.

The Sick leaders, have been identified as has sick Kenneth Mugabe alias Gibs also councilor representing people of Kagote ward, Bernard Ategeka representing the people Kijanju ward and Gladys, Basemera Maimuna who is a technocrat.
According to Muhumuza’s address yesterday, Gibs is suffering from kidney failure that requires him to be taken to India for transplant and Bernard needs hip replacements [hip arthroplasty ]. The other two are reportedly suffering from cancer.

Muhumuza said that as the division, they have written to the office of the president seeking for help including the area Mps Alex Ruhunda,Linda Irene and Margret Muhunga.
The councilor, further refuted allegations that he is denying plans of hosting a concert to host Bobi wine to mobilize money to treat the councilors.
Muhumuza further explained that anyone that is willing to mobilize funds for the patients is welcome since the cause is to save life.

Hon.Alex Ruhunda yesterday via his face book, revealed that the Rt.Hon.Speaker Annet Among had offered to contribute $10000 which is about 38 million Shillings to the treatment of a one Kenneth Gibz whose health needs urgent intervention.
Reportedly a totalof $50000 which is about 190 million shillings is required for Gibz to undergo a successful Kidney transplant.
Meanwhile, a close source has revealed that UPDF has contributed 5000 dollars towards the cause of restoring the above colleague’s health.
