Fort-portal Diocese: All Is Set For Scientific Priestly, Diaconate Ordination Ceremony.

By Augustine Byaruhanga Kabooha.

Preparations are underway at our lady of snow Virika Cathedral in Fort-portal city ahead of Saturday’s scientific priestly and diaconate ordination ceremony.

Rev. Fr. Richard Bomera the Fort-portal Diocese Director of Vocations says that everything has been put in place and ordination mass shall start at exactly 10am.

A total of eleven deacons will be ordained as priests while ten seminarians will be ordained as deacons. Among the seminarians to be ordained is seminarian Charles Kasangaki a cancer survivor who was supposed to be ordained in 2019.

Our reporters visited the cathedral on Friday evening and found the choir making rehearsals for the event. Robert Kusemererwa the music director promised that they will offer the needful to make the ceremony a colorful.

Due to covid-19 guidelines the vocations director told us that not more than 200 people have been accredited to attend the ceremony.

Jubilee Radio will be offering live broadcast of the ceremony And Live Stream On Jubilee Radio Social Media Platforms.
