Fort Portal city’s Ghetto leadership is seeking community support, setting the stage for an upcoming mega Ghetto Festival.
In a commendable move, the Ghetto leadership of Fort Portal city stepped up yesterday to assist a struggling Ghetto entrepreneur in expanding his chapati business within the Kitembe North division.
Henry Kyomuhendo alias Atom, a prominent Ghetto storyteller, who just distributed items worth 500,000 to the Ghetto community, revealed that his personal commitment to support the community began a week ago, with some back up from friends both within the country and internationally.
Ghetto Youth Struggle with small businesses
Atom, highlighted the existence of several struggling individuals in the Ghetto with small businesses, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to uplift them through supportive initiatives.
Beyond individual assistance, the Ghetto leadership is also engaged in environmentally conscious activities a way to save mother nature and income source.
The ghetto story teller, notes that as part of the preparations for the Ghetto Festival scheduled on December 20, 2023, the leadership took the initiative to plant fruit trees which not only contributes to the beautification of the area, but also aligns with the festival’s broader goals and community-building objectives pertinent to the environment
