Fort Portal yesterday witnessed a jubilant atmosphere as St. Maria Goretti Girls Secondary School and King of Kings College hailed their outstanding performance in the just-released Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) Results for 2023.
Under the esteemed presence of Janet Kataha Museveni, the Minister of Education, Games, and Sports, the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) ceremony in Kampala marked the unveiling of UCE results 2023, with impressive performance.
King of Kings UCE 2023
At King of Kings College Fort-portal, Headteacher Frank Nkwasibwe proudly announced the school’s commendable results: Division One – 11, Division Two – 39, Division Three – 68, with others excelling in Division Four.
He attributed the success to prayers, hard work and support from teachers, students, parents and well wishers of the school

Meanwhile, at St. Maria Goretti Girls Secondary School, Rev.Sr. Judith Kenkimba attributed their exceptional performance to the relentless dedication of students, teachers, and parents. Notably, the school continues to welcome students across all classes.

With 31 students achieving Division One, 28 in Division Two, 14 in Division Three, and 2 in Division Four, St. Maria Goretti Secondary School showcased its excellence with a total of 75 candidates.
