Stephen Ayebare, A Boda rider hailing from Gweri, in Fort Portal city doubling as the  winner for yesterday’s Ordinary bicycle racers, Said this year’s races have been more competitive compared to the previous ones, which calls for more training.

” This time round the races have been so tight. The first time, participants were reluctant and didn’t take the activity seriously. MTN’s token has continuously inspired most of us to engage in this sport, a reason why almost 100 of us have participated.” Said Ayebare.

Ayebare, who also bagged a total of about 3m in last year’s races at different levels, revealed that he has been riding someone’s motorcycle for survival, but will top up the money given to him from MTN to his savings so that he can buy his own motorcycle.

However, the Sports bikes winner, Seemu David, attributed the success to adequate training through their sports team, which was empowered by the Kingdom.

“We are glad that we are actually able to earn from our talents. I appeal to the youth out there to utilize their free time for pay, for instance they could join any training team that will help them realize their sports talents instead of wasting time in things that are not constructive.

We are grateful to the Kingom in partnership with MTN for empowering the sports in the Tourism City” Remarked Seemu.
