The Rt Rev.Bishop Robert Muhiirwa Akiiki of Fortportal catholic diocese has urged people to remain vigilant and ensure safety during these unprecedented times especially during gatherings.
This He said today while addressing hundreds of mourners at the send off ceremony of their beloved priest Rev.Fr Francis Muchocho Araali who passed on in the morning of November 17 2021 at Holy family virika Hospital due to multiple organ failure.
During his speech,The Bishop appealed to mourners to take care of themselves by continuing to observe S.O.Ps, vaccinate against Covid-19 incase they get a chance and also avoid carrying heavy bags along their respective Journeys due to random Bombings by the enemies of the country.
Bishop Muhiirwa has described the late as a loving,selfless enduring and humble servant of God who loved saints and not only prayed to the daily saint but also shared the details to different people on their respective media Platforms and prays that the saints intercede for the departed soul to rest well.
According to Fr John Tumuhairwe the diocesan Chancellor,Rev Fr Francis Muchocho Araali the late, has served as a priest for 22 years and two months and his places of service in Fortportal diocese include 1999-2001 Kahunge Catholic Parish as a Curate,2001-2006 Katoosa Catholic Parish as a Curate 2006-2008 Holy Trinity Parish, Kitagwenda as a Curate 2008-2011 Centenary Parish, Kanyamukale still as a Curate, 2011-2017 St. Adolf On-going Formation Centre as a Teacher and 2017-2021 Bishop’s House, Fort Portal where he has been staying before death robbed him.
The deceased has died at the age of 53 and has finally been laid to rest today Noember 19 2921 at St John Mary Vianney cemetery at Bishop’s residence Fortportal. May his soul Rest in eternal peace Amen.
