Since then, fruits are slowly but steadily starting to be realized.

The land is found, 3km on Hoima- Masindi road. The land is part of 150 acres registered under their grandfather’s name-the late Dr. James Rujumba who gazetted 20 acres for a public project to be decided on by the family. Dr. Rujumba was the first Veterinary Doctor in Uganda.

On the other hand, Kahumuza Raymond Rujumba the Chairman Select Committee coordinating between the two parties sang full praise of FUFA.
‘We want to thank FUFA for availing the family with the opportunity to further develop sports in the district. I also thank FUFA for the cordial working relationship they have shown with the family right from the start of the negotiations to where we are now. It is a milestone. We shall lease out the land to serve the purpose of the stadium and people of Hoima’
‘I have found the FUFA Executive very open minded and transparent as there has always been communication back and forth’
In 2019, the Rujumba Family offered land to FUFA
‘FUFA is grateful for this offer to develop the game of football. Namirembe church offered us land in Rubaga division in Kampala, the Kabaka of Buganda did the same with 10acres in Lugazi and now more from the Rujumba family. I am taking back a good message to the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo the FUFA President and the entire executive so that we find resources for this project to start.
