Jubilee Radio Donates Relief Items to Tooro Babies Home

As away of giving back to society and helping the needy, Jubilee Radio has yesterday donated relief items to children of Tooro babies  home in Fort Portal central -Fort Portal city.

 

About the items

The items  donated by the radio, included food, shoes, clothes, beddings, pampers items, among others.

The Jubilee staff present for the activity, revealed that some of the items were solicited from the well wishers and listeners of jubilee radio.

 

Why the donation 

According to Fr. Ronald Musinguzi, the managing director Jubilee radio, the donation is a norm and an act of charity to help the needy which Jubilee Radio does annually.

 

While speaking about the activity, Fr.Musinguzi commended the administration for the great work done by Tooro babies home of looking after the less privileged children.

 

The man of God went ahead to laud the listeners of Jubilee who took heed to actively participate in collecting the relief items.

 

Tooro Babies home economically challenged

Joan Kusemererwa the acting matron at Tooro baby’s home explained that the home is currently accommodating 50 children 28 boys and 22 girls aging from 3-0 years.

 

Joan however went ahead to reveal that the home still has challenges of low funding especially given the current hard economic situation thus calling upon help from any well-wishers.

 

Kusemererwa, commended Jubilee Radio for the generosity and donation rendered to them.
