Jubilee radio has resumed parish visits as a way of enhancing amity with their respective listeners and entire community.
A group of Jubilee Staff led by Rev Fr.Frederick Douglas Waako the Director, has reached out to the Katoosa community. In this visit they have run a number of activities including leading all the three Holy Masses, friendly Match with Katoosa Parish among others.
Fr.Waako, who has also led all the three holy Masses at katoosa parish, has appealed to Christians to mind what they speak. In his homily, He has advised believers to think twice before speaking out some thing, noting carefully that there is always repercussions for what is spoken.
In an up-close with our reporter, Christians at katoosa have appreciated the work of the radio particularly in raising their Spirituality.
Gloria Kunihiira, a Christian hailing from Kijuma ward Kyenjojo district has thanked Jubilee Radio for establishing physical relationship with people and enhancing people’s faith via different Spiritual programs.
Led by Fr Venancio Busobozi as the Parish priest, Katoosa parish is Blessed with beautiful huge rocks which are used by Christians to commemorate the Uganda martyrs. The place doubles as Tourist attraction following the origin of a one Adolf Tibeyalirwa a ugandan Martyr who hails from Katoosa Parish.

The rocks have been labelled with portraits of all the twenty two martyrs. The development according Fr Busobozi, is in memory of St Adolf Tibeyalirwa a born of Katoosa Parish.
He says that Christians are time and again testifying miracles after seeking intercession from Martyrs visualized on those rocks. This has thus prompted plans of further beautifying and developing the place for the future. He finally thanked Jubilee Staff for the useful visit.
Born of Ntuntu village in Mwenge, St Adolf Tibeyalirwa is one of the 22 Catholic Uganda Martyrs whose Feast day is annually celebrated in Uganda on the 3rd June. The Diocese of Fort Portal however marks the Pilgrimage to Katoosa every 27th of January in honor of all Uganda Martyrs
