Kabarole NGOS & CBOS Donate Five Computers to Kaboyo SSS

Kaboyo SSS Headteacher hopeful for improved grades through utilization of the acquired gadgets

Kabarole NGOS and CBOS (KANCA) has donated five computers to Kaboyo Senior Secondary School to help students and teachers ease ICT studies.

 

While handing over the computers today the board chairperson of the board of directors Kabarole NGOS and CBOS (KANCA) Kalyegiira Hamilton appreciated the Executive Director Edward Itoote for the love he has for the school. He explained that he had seen many people in the regions who have enough resources but had done nothing or little to their communities.

 

Kalyegiira says that they are dynamic world due to interconnections through the use of technologies like the internet, and phones among others thus urging the school board, PTA, and administration to have internet services connected to these machines for the students and teachers to make use of them.

He urges the students to use the machine for learning purposes, not other things like pornography among other bad behaviors.  He also encouraged them to take care of these computers.

 

The Head teacher Atukunda Winnie, also appreciated Kabarole NGOS and CBOS donate 5 computers to Kaboyo Senior Secondary School for being supportive of the school.  She added that this is an advantage to the staff and students thus the performance will improve through opening the world to students.

 

Joseph Musinguzi the head prefect told our reporter that these computers are timely and they will help them to do research.
