Kabarole NRM Voter Registration Seeks Extension Amid Low Turnout

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) party in Kabarole district and Fort-portal City Registered a low turnout during the recent party member registration and voter register update countrywide.

 

 

The Five day nationwide exercise ran from Wednesday 13th to Sunday 17th March 2024 and was carried out at village level.

 

Patrick Kamulindwa the Registrar for Kabarole and Fort-portal City says, countless names in the register have not been updated because members did not turn-up. They could either have quitted the party or failed to get time.

 

 

According to him the national party secretary General Richard Todwong has promised to allocate another space before the 2026 general elections were willing individuals can join the party.

 

 

He also revealed that a few challenges were highlighted by members during the register update exercise hence promising to table them before the party secretariat
