The Kabarole Resident District Commissioner Bandeba Festus Besigye has asked the district heads of department to intensify their interventions and focus on service delivery, a goal prioritized by president Museveni.
He was yesterday speaking during the weekly district senior management meeting that looks at the achievements, challenges and future plans of the district.
Bandeba asked the technocrats to identify issues, suggest solutions and interventions using the available data so as to transform the lives of the people of Rwengaju Presidential Model Sub County and the district at large.
The team agreed to descend to Rwengaju, dialogue with the community and find interventions of transforming the sub county to a desired farmer model sub county.
The District Production and Marketing Officer Dr. Abigaba Selevatori observed that at least farmers in Rwengaju are enjoying the increased production and sale of bananas adding that the banana production ordinance needs to be enforced by all stakeholders for farmers to change their mindset and increase banana production
