He explains that children from 12 years and above with morbidities (illness) will be getting their jabs.

Catherine Kemigabo the District Health Educator(DHE) Kabarole, says the regional launch will be at Mucwa Health Centre III, but appeals to Political leaders at all levels , Religious leaders and other stakeholders to take part in mobilizing people especially the elderly and those with morbidities, to come for the vaccination and booster doses.

She explains that places with high population have been designated for the Round 2 Covid-19 Accelerated vaccination outreaches in town and Kabarole district.

Anna Tukahirwa, the assistant District Health Officer, says although there are few cases of Covid-19 in the country, the government through the Round 2 Covid-19 Accelerated Vaccination campaign wants to increase vaccination, improve and protect its population from infections.

The deputy RCC Fort Portal  Festus Bandeeba, wants all the people who missed vaccination and those who did not get the opportunity of getting the second jab, to go for the vaccination and protect themselves from infections.
