The fatal accident
Yesterday Link bus Reg. No. UBA 003S on its way to Kampala from Bundibugyo was involved in an accident at around 10: am leaving some people lifeless and others with serious injuries. This was in Sebitoli along Kampala road, in Busoro Subcounty Kabarole district.
According to police, 20 people died on spot, 11 men and 9 women among them 7 children. Today, one breathed his last in hospital making a total of 21.
It will go as the worst scene in my life as I sped behind that bus, overtook a Congolese fuel trailer failed to regain stability, swung into ditch and tea shed head first, somersaulting top down first, rolling and standing again having crushed, thrown her victims in tea plantation! Oh my, the sight of our children reporting back to school will not allow me to sleep tonight! Great Lord preside over there families!
