Christians at Kazingo Parish, are over the moon following yesterday’s Radio tour, in which Jubilee radio paid courtesy visit to them at their Parish in Kazingo ward- Fort Portal North, Fort Portal diocese.
The Visit, comprised of a number of activities including holy Masses fully led by Fr. Frederick D. Waako who doubles as Jubilee radio’s managing director, Friendly match, and intensive interactions between radio staff and Christians of Kazingo among others.
The visit, has taken place on a Sunday of the third week of lent year C.

In his homily to Kazingo Christians, Fr. Waako noted the repercussions of sin to humanity and appealed to Christians todo away with it.

He however reminded them to use this particular time to repent and also make use of Penance as a sacrament, but warned them to be clear whenever they go for this sacrament

The other activities
The day, ended with a friendly football match at St Mary’s Kazingo primary school pitch where Kazingo team won Jubilee radio 2-1. Thousands of Christians spectated this match, and in his remarks, the Parish Priest Kazingo appreciated Jubilee radio for the act of thoughtfulness to it’s respective clients specifically in Kazingo, thus promising continued Support.

Mr.Amos Karatunga, the Parish Youth leader Kazingo, is grateful of the remarkable visit, and thanked their youth chaplain and parish priest for the immense support in making the day a success.
Fr. Phillip Kamugisha the Youth chaplain also Curate Kazingo Parish, is grateful of the visit, saying it motivated their youth to showcase their talents, and also to strengthen their relationship with the radio. He requested the youth, to behave so as to benefit from various programs awaiting them.
Fr Edward Winyi the Parish Priest, appreciated both teams for the in put and appealed to the youth to continue working hard in reference to the coming diocesan tournament.
Fr Waako, also appreciated the effectiveness of the match, noting that such exercises are key in preventing non communicable diseases, and that they help one to stay physically fit. He finally thanked Christians for the overwhelming support and warm welcome.
