Authorities in Kicwamba sub-county have received 10 modern fish cages
to benefit fishermen and women within the sub county
While receiving the cages from NAADS officials, the sub-county
chairman Jack Magezi Kicuculi noted that the cages will help on the
productivity of fish farmers in the area.
He applauded the government and NAADs for supporting farmers with
technologies and promised to ensure they are put in better use.
He said that the sub-county is looking at how they can generate
revenue from fish farmers after the struggle since they were taken over
by Ferdsult.
According to fishermen they will use the cages to increase on their income.
