Kijura Residents Want Lockdown Extended For 30days.

The residents of Kijura town council in Kabarole district are appealing to President Yoweri Museveni to announce another lockdown of 30 days before opening up the country

According to these concerned citizens, covid-19 cases are still high and it will be risky if everything is reopened at the moment

Rose Mabiho incase government allows people to go back to normal business covid-19 cases and deaths are likely to increase

Linda Birungi says the president should learn from the previous lockdown when he reopened and cases increased

She however says that the final decision still lies in the hands of the president and as residents are ready to adhere to his advice

Kansime Goreeti a student and resident of Kijura town council says that the president should extend the lockdown to protect people’s lives

President Yoweri Museveni is expected to address nation over the weekend in a live broadcast on Radio and Television.
