Kitara FC 1-0 Kiboga Young.
Kitara FC have earned a premier League status after recording a 1-0 victory over Kiboga Young in a FUFA Big League playoffs final played at the Technical centre in Njeru.
Brian Mululi Mayanja scored an header in the 55th minute for the only goal of the game in a closely contested affair.
Kitara, coached by Mark Twinamatsiko, joins MYDA and UPDF FC as the three promoted teams in UPL next season.
The Hoima-based side lost their 2018 promotional playoff final against Paidha Black Angels.
This season, the league was ended prematurely due to Covid19 pandemic and Kitara were second in Rwenzori group with 22 points, just a point below automatically promoted UPDF FC.
In their playoffs semifinal, Kitara needed penalties to edge Kataka FC to set up a final with Kiboga Young FC.
This is the second team Twinamatsiko has promoted to top flight after Saints FC.
