Christians at Kitumbi Parish in Kabarole district Fort Portal diocese, have turned up in big numbers to celebrate Divine mercy Sunday at their church Christ the king Kitumbi Parish.
The day’s Masses, were led by Fr. Frederick D.Waako- the managing Director Jubilee radio, in company of Jubilee Staff during a radio visit to Kitumbi Parish.
In his homily to hundreds of congregants, Fr Waako called for calmness among Christians despite the hardships they may be going through.
Anxiety within Christians
He related the call to the current situation, in which people have lost hope, which has lowered their life value, giving an example of parents no longer having time for their children and Partners no longer having time for one another.
This he said is because they are devoted to searching for money thinking it’s all they want.
Fr.Waako, warned that Christians stay away from pronouncing Satan and rather make God part of their daily vocabulary. He attached this to the youth’s current busy lifestyles that have distanced them away from God.
He advised Christians to stop admiring people’s property, but rather challenged them to go and start up some thing profitable, advising them to keep the trust in God, since He is merciful and has his own timing in answering every one’s prayer.
