Kyarusozi Parish in Kyenjojo district was on Saturday filled with joyous smiles as parishioners finally received the much-anticipated Public System valued at 40 million Shs, aimed at enhancing public address capabilities within the parish.
The Public System, comprising microphones, amplifiers, loudspeakers, and associated equipment, was ceremoniously inaugurated and blessed by Rev Fr Richard Pothast Akiiki CSC, the pioneer parish priest of Kyarusozi.
Fr. Pothast, acknowledged the growing faith among parishioners, evident in the increasing turn up at church events, to the unwavering dedication of the congregation.

Commending Fr. James Burasa CSC for his relentless advocacy on behalf of Kyarusozi Parish, Fr. Pothast urged parishioners to utilize the Public System effectively in spreading the divine message.
In an expression of gratitude, Mr. Gregory Nyabwenga, also a Catechist in Kyarusozi Parish, hailed the arrival of the new Public System as a significant improvement, anticipating superior sound quality at future gatherings.
He extended appreciation to both Frs. Burasa and Pothast for their tireless contributions to the parish’s development and acknowledged Jubilee Radio for their consistent support in promoting parish events.
Fr. James Burasa CSC, the parish priest of Kyarusozi, recognized the generous support of the American donors of Kenyan descent who played a pivotal role in funding the project.
He also commended Kyarusozi Parishioners for their substantial contribution of approximately 4 million Shs, emphasizing their unwavering dedication, which would have enabled them to raise the entire 40 million Shs independently if necessary.
