LCV Bunyangabu Calls For Unity Among Councilors For Better Services

The LCV Chairman Bunyangabu District James Ategeka Mugarama has called
upon all councilors to work as a team to ensure that locals get good
services.

Speaking during a one-day training workshop for councilors from
Bunyangabu District, organized by NGOs and CBOs-KANCA held yesterday
at Travelers Nest Hotel in Bunyangabu, Ategeka said that Bunyangabu
can be developed when councilors join hands and work as a team.

Ategeka commended the NGOs and CBOs Association for equipping
councilors with the leadership skills.

Kato Hussein the councilor representing Kibiito Sub-county who is also
the district speaker said that training has changed the mindset of the
councilors.

Michael Kisembo one of the facilitators warned councilors against
promoting tribalism during their term of office. He noted that
tribalism hampers service delivery.

Edward Itoote the Executive Director KANCA said that the orientation
is intended to equip councilors with leadership skills. He promised to
continue working with the District leadership to ensure that services
reach local.
