Police in Fort portal are investigating a case in which a man gruesomely chopped his wife’s legs.
Kenneth Happy, a resident of Bukwali B, Bukwali ward central division Fort portal, gruesomely cut the legs of Kabaalisa Grace, completely severing one while the other was left hanging by a strand of tissue.
Police is now investigating after one Bernard Kandole, the area chairman, came to police at night with Kenneth Happy who was at that time in a semi-conscious situation after being badly beaten up by locals for the offence he committed.
Patrick Muhenda, the Fort portal central police station community liaison officer says both victims, one of domestic violence and the other of mob justice, are currently receiving treatment at Fort Portal regional referral hospital after they were rushed there while in critical condition.
