At least 10 people from one family have remained displaced in Bunyangabu district after mudslides hit them in a heavy down pour on Thursday.
According to one Kusemererwa David alias Mukade sub county councilor Bukika 1 Zone,Kibota Parish Buhesi Town Council, the heavy down pour that came with heavy winds, destroyed 20 gardens of onions, killed domestic birds and two goats and also led to the breaking of Rukinga Hill leading to mudslides and heavy stones destroying some houses.
The mad slides destroyed the house belonging to one Byaruhanga alias Byada where the entire house destroyed with the house properties that has left him and family members homeless.
Kemigisa Verolina also a farmer whose garden was destroyed disclosed that she is counting looses of about two million shillings of her Onion garden thus asking for help from the government.
