As students continue to stay at home due to covid 19 Busoro, Hakibale,kichwamba and Mugusu sub counties are in the lead with children increased cases of early pregnancies in Kabarole district.
This was sounded by the information officer Kabarole district Ainganiza Steven Waddell during the inspection of Christ Aid international primary school that was constructed by Sophie Vangil from a Belgium with an aim for promoting the girl education.
Ainganiza disclosed that many sub counties lack secondary schools where girls trek long distances leading them to involve in sexual intercourse.
Grace Mugasa the executive director Christ, Aid international has disclosed that as Christ Aid primary school, six of their children got pregnancy during the lockdown, thus asking parents to take back their children to school when schools reopen.
Mugasa has further disclosed that the new school is going to mainly focus on girl child education to reduce chances of early pregnancies for their better future.
