The presidential aspirant Alliance for the national transformation in the forth coming general elections 2021 General Mugisha Muntu Gregory has launched a 2Bn. Shillings online campaign aimed at soliciting money aimed at funding their campaigns today in Fort portal at Makole hall during the ANT delegates conference.
According to Mugisha Muntu, the electoral commission of Uganda put a lot of money for political aspirants willing to stand on different seats which cannot be affordable resorting to start up an online campaign.
At least a member of parliament is required to pay 3Mshillings to be nominated in the electoral commission.
Muntu has stated that at least 700Mshillings will be needed for the nomination of the members of parliament from ANT country wide.
Many youths and interested Ugandans will miss out nominated due to too much nomination costs put by the electoral commission whereby majority doesn’t have money to campaign on Radio and TV station.
However, Muntu has cautioned the government from inter fearing with into opposition campaigns come 2021 thus should be given equal opportunity
