Mwenge North has officially been eliminated from the Third Edition Tooro Kingdom MTN Amasaza Cup after losing their second group stage game to Kyaka County at the Kyarusozi playground in Kyenjojo District.
Kagaba Ronnie scored the decisive goal for Kyaka, resulting in a 1-0 victory over Mwenge North. In their previous match, Mwenge North suffered a 3-1 defeat to Ntoroko.
Kyaka is set to play the final group game against Ntoroko on July 21, 2024, at Humura playground. This match will determine the group leader.
