A total of 43 pilgrims have been flagged off for Namugongo trekking from Bundibugyo.
This, was at our lady of annunciation Bugombwa parish ahead of their initial journey which kicked off today at 4am.
The flagging off process was done by Rev. Fr Samuel Mugisa, who appealed to the pilgms to have faith in action as they trek to commemorate Uganda Martyrs come 3rd June.
Throughout their Journey, Fr Mugisa, requested the pilgrims emulate Jesus’ suffering on the cross with faith and hope reflecting on the Martyr’s day 2022 theme “Baptized and sent to witness Christ with hope and love.”
This he says, will lead them to success.
