Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Kitara Football Club are set to announce Anthony Ssekitto as the new head coach.
Ssekitto, a CAF B holder, is expected to be unveiled on a two year employment Contract.
He will replace Mark Twinamatsiko who led the Hoima club to the top flight from the Big League.
Twinamasiko and his deputy Lawrence Bakilanze have already joined another Big League side Kigezi HomeBoyz.
Ssekitto will be in charge of Kitara FC for the second time having guided them to the 2017-18 FUFA Big League promotion playoff where they eventually lost to Paidha Black Angels on penalties at Lugogo.
Last season, Ssekitto was in charge of Bukedea Town Council (now known as Blacks Power FC) before he was relieved of his duties and replaced by Peter Onen.
He has also previously worked at Kyetume FC, Amuka Bright Stars and Paidha Black Angels.
Kitara FC joined the top flight after edging Kiboga Young 1-0 in the promotional play off final courtesy of Brian Mayanja Mululi’s lone goal at Njeru last month.
The Uganda Premier League 2020-21 season tentatively scheduled to kick off on 3rd December.
I wish you success in your endeavors
