NRM Losers Contesting As Independents Have Been Asked To Either Be In NRM or Independent.

By Sylvia.

The Kabarole and Fort portal NRM chairperson John Kusemerwa young Kumwe has asked the NRM losers to either be independent or NRM members.

After the NRM party primaries in September 2020, majority of the members who lost in the elections, decided to come in the general elections as independents.

They are claiming to be independent NRM leaning candidates an act John Kumwe refused.

Kumwe has said that these people should come as independents or NRM and they should support the flag bearers in the forth coming general elections as the party principles.

Kumwe disclosed that someone cannot be either catholic or protestant thus one has to choose one religion to belong.

In Kabarole and Fort portal, about 20 NRM losers are contesting as independents after losing the party primaries and some include, Sylvia Rwabwogo the Kabarole woman members of parliament, Judith Mukidi Basemera, who lost to Linda Irene, Eng Charles Muganzi who lost to Kagwera Steven in Burahya county, among others.
