Jubilee Radio staff has yet again proceeded with parish tours, as it seeks better ways of extending services to the listeners.
Today, the radio registered a successful tour to Our lady of holy rosary Yerya parish, which is also preparing to host the set of ordinations come August 6
The Managing director jubilee, Fr. Ronald Musinguzi, has led the three holy masses at the host parish, and appealed to the congregation to detach themselves from materialistic things, that separate them from the love of God.
He explained to them, that at the end of the day, all is vanity.
Alluding to the parable of the rich fool in the bible, Fr. Musinguzi advised Christians, to rather consider using material stuff to support each other in growth and development, especially the needy.
Yerya brethren, lauded Jubilee Radio for the work done on ground, and the urge to tighten the physical bond with their clients.
In a friendly match between Jubilee staff and Yerya parish where Jubilee lost to the host parish, Christians commended the radio for the great social hour and pledged full support to their own radio.
According to Fr. Joseph Amanyire, a priest at the host Parish, Jubilee has strengthened the relationship with its listeners, which he regarded as a good gesture.
In his view, in case the radio tightens up on such lively programs, huge success will continue to be registered in the company.
Meanwhile, this has marked the 4th radio parish visit, and the company is set to visit all parishes within the diocese of Fort Portal.
