Police in Fort Portal has started registering polling constables who will work during 2020 Elections.
According to RDC/RCC Fort Portal Asiimwe Stephen, they are registering people who are 18 -40 years and should have completed S.4 or academic documents equivalent to S.4.
Asiimwe said that they want people who are physically fit and those who can work for long hours.
Oese John Faustine the Kabarole district police commander says that those who are ready to apply should have the recommendation letter from the LC1, LC11. LC111 and GISO. He added that they do not need drunkard people.
He says that they have started registering today and the exercise will end on 1st Sunday November. He added that the contract is for only 3 months.
