President Y K Museveni is today set to meet different teachers’ representatives at State House Entebbe over the shs20bn SACCO money following concerns over continued suffering of teachers and alleged embezzlement of the funds by some individuals.
The President General of the Uganda Liberal Teachers Union, Kaganizo Mutesasira is optimistic that this meeting will yield fruits and wants government to educate teachers and learners more about the COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) ahead of reopening of schools for candidates and finalists on October 15,2020.
Also expected to be tackled are concerns from the private sector ahead of schools reopening.
