The public has been encouraged to manage anger by sharing their feelings with trusted friends. Afande Kule Adolf, Community Liaisons Officer for North Division, made the call during the burial of Kasigazi Tadeo, a brother to Master Tom, an employee of Jubilee Radio.
Kule noted that unmanaged anger can lead to serious consequences, including crime and even loss of life. He emphasized that the law doesn’t recognize anger as a justification for criminal behavior, highlighting the importance of sharing feelings with trusted individuals.
Kule also discouraged long-lasting hatred and encouraged the public to report incidents to the police for intervention. He emphasized the dangers of inherited hatred and the need for timely resolution.
Kijanjuko, a lay reader, urged the public to seek spiritual counseling from clerics to manage anger and avoid its negative outcomes.
The police reported that the postmortem examination revealed Kasigazi died from pesticide poisoning, with all his organs destroyed.
The police appealed for calmness among the family and residents as they await the final forensic investigation results.
